Starting with version 5.6, the Mac OS X version of Mup and its companion tools is available directly from Arkkra Enterprises: Download Mup for Mac OS X.
If for some reason you need an older version of Mup, the historical information and associated download links are preserved below.
Mup is a shareware music publication program by Arkkra Enterprises. Music is described by a text file that you can create using your favorite editor or the included Mupmate program. Mup then determines how to lay out the music, and generates PostScript output for displaying or printing it.

This port of Mup has been built as universal binaries for PowerPC-based and Intel-based Macs. It has been built and tested on Mac OS X 10.5.3.
This port of Mup is provided as a disk image for Mac OS X. It comes with more detailed documentation.

The Macintosh port of Mup is provided in the hope that it will be useful but comes with absolutely no warranty, neither by Michael Thies nor by Arkkra Enterprises.
While the Macintosh specific additions and enhancements in the Macintosh port of Mup are provided free of charge by Michael Thies, the underlying Mup source code is Shareware copyrighted by Arkkra Enterprises. You must register Mup with Arkkra Enterprises, if you want to use it beyond the initial evaluation period.
